Darlinghurst: Street Art: Redds

My friend, Ruby, is a good spotter of unusual things in the neighbourhood, but not too many people could miss this large, plastic-cup sculpture in the wire-mesh fence along William Street. Thanks for the photo, Ruby!

At first I assumed it was a nod to today's NRL grand final, as in ''Go the Redds, go the Dragons!'' with a little bit of a typo, or perhaps just some emphasis, as in ''Go the Reddddddds''.

But a little bit of google research indicates that Redds is actually the name of the brand of cup used in the artwork. It's a cult plastic-cup apparently.
